I’m not immune to criticism, I’m probably too old to be playing video games as much as I do but there you go.
I do not, however play Role Playing Games, never have. I remember Dungeons and Dragons from the eighties, the sided dice and the nerds in the basement. Nobody cool ever got involved with that nonsense, they were too busy looking for girls.
I guess it’s the immersive nature of the games that suggests a type of escape for a certain type of person, specifically a person who’s scared to talk to girls.
Anyway this site exists to gently remind readers of the comedy value of RPG’s. Because you know those who play it take it far too seriously to laugh at it. However I do also recognise the immense popularity of this genre and it’s fair to say it caught the imagination of millions of people in the 1970′s and onwards so for that reason I also, for my own purposes as well as informative ones, want to occasionally write something educational about this subject.
